Classic BR/EDR Bluetooth IP family

Compatible with Bluetooth 3.0, and backward compatible with Bluetooth 1.2, 2.0+EDR and 2.1+EDR, it is composed of:

  • Bluetooth hardware baseband controller, available in RTL source code, driven by its firmware, available in C source code. More details can be found on this page.
  • Bluetooth Radio, with integrated digital modem, targeted for TSMC 90nm LP RFCMOS, available in schematics and GDSII. More details can be found on this page.

This family is suitable for use in various applications such as feature phone, computer (desktop, laptop, netbook, tablet), mono/stereo headset, car kit, navigation, portable media player, digital TV, Set Top Box, etc.

Bluetooth low energy (aka Bluetooth Smart) IP family

Compatible with the Bluetooth low energy hallmark feature of the Bluetooth 4.0 specifications, also know as Bluetooth Smart, it is composed of:

  • hardware baseband controller, available in RTL source code, driven by its firmware, available in C source code. More details can be found on this page.
  • host protocole software stack and profiles, available in C source code. More details can be found on this page.
  • Bluetooth Smart radio, with integrated digital modem, targeted for UMC 90nm LL, available in GDSII. More details can be found on this page.

This family is suitable for use in various applications such as watch, wireless sensors for medical and sport&fitness (heart rate belt, glucose meter, temperature sensor, ...), remote controller, etc...


Dual mode Bluetooth low energy (aka Bluetooth Smart Ready) IP family

Compatible with full Bluetooth 4.0, also known as Bluetooth Smart Ready, with full support of classic BR/EDR Bluetooth and Bluetooth low energy functionalities, it is composed of:

  • Bluetooth hardware baseband controller, available in RTL source code, driven by its firmware, available in C source code. More details can be found on this page.

802.11abg IP family

Certified for Wi-Fi 802.11abg, in STA and AP modes, it is composed of:

  • 802.11abg MAC. Available in RTL source code, and software for LMAC and UMAC, available in C source code.
  • 802.11b DSSS/CCK modem. Available in RTL source code and matlab model.
  • 802.11ag OFDM modem. Available in RTL source code and matlab model.
  • 802.11abg 2.4/5GHz dual band radio
  • 802.11bg 2.4GHz single band radio

802.11n IP family
